What Is North of Holly About?
North of Holly follows Flower, a kid with immense talent who’s never been given the outlet he needs to truly express himself. Through the hardships of homelessness in Hollywood, he finds his voice and a way to channel his creativity, ultimately showing that even in the darkest places, there’s room for growth and self-discovery. His journey is a powerful reflection of the realities faced by many young people in our communities. This story gives a raw and real look into the struggles and resilience of those who are often overlooked.
Why Are We Doing This?
The story of North of Holly highlights the need for spaces where youth can feel safe and empowered to develop their talents. Too many young people face challenges like homelessness, poverty, and lack of resources, which block their paths to success. We want to change that by building the Slump Center—a physical space where young adults ages 12-25 can hone their creativity and develop skills in art, music, entrepreneurship, and more.

That’s why we’re creating North of Holly, a comic book and cartoon series that tells the story of Flower—a talented but lost kid who discovers his creative outlet while navigating homelessness. This project is more than just entertainment; it’s the first step in building a community center designed to uplift at-risk youth and young adults, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive.
Our Vision: The Slump Center
The Slump Center will be a community hub dedicated to providing a safe environment where young people can express themselves, learn, and grow. Here, they will have access to:
